Getting Here

UPDATE: The venue and surrounding areas are in good shape post-hurricane and we are full speed ahead for this weekend’s celebration. There are some road outages in South Carolina and North Carolina so we advise anybody traveling into the area to consult local news reports and get the latest information on major road closings at:

Emerald Isle and the areas around it are lovely parts of the North Carolina coast.  The area is a little off the beaten path, but we think you’ll find it’s worth the trip.

If you’re flying in, you’ve got a few options.

RDU – Raleigh-Durham’s airport is about 2 1/2 hours away and is likely the most practical option for most travelers.  You’ll need to rent a car since hitchhiking is spotty this time of year.

CLT – Charlotte’s airport is 4-5 hours away, but has the most connections.

ILM – Wilmington is about 1 1/2 hours away and has plenty of daily connections

OAJ – Jacksonville’s airport is about 45 minutes away with limited daily connections.

EWN – New Bern’s airport is about 45 minutes away with limited daily connections.

If you’re driving in, you might try one of these routes:
